Our Mission

Green Branch Christian Faith Center is called to proclaim and deliver the Gospel of Christ with integrity. We are commanded to be true worshippers and maintain authentic worship of Jehovah. We are to show all people a genuine love for Christ, a deep desire for righteousness, and a consciousness of their responsibilities to Jehovah and the creation of Jehovah. We give our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and to minister to the needs of all people in this ministry,the community, the city, the state, the United States and this world.

Our Vision

I, Pastor Roger Lane, by divine order from God have been given a vision to first build the Kingdom of God. Therefore, Green Branch Christian Faith Center is to build the Kingdom of God. This will be accomplished by being Christ-centered, Bible based, Holy Spirit filled, and Holy Spirit lead.

The Kingdom of God is built by reaching those who are lost. Matthew. 18:11 says, ”For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” We are chosen to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

Now I, Pastor Lane, will lead by the Spirit and Word of God. We will not detour to accommodate man or tradition. I must preach and teach the members of the body of Christ that God will not accept anything less than the standards that are set in the written Word of God.

I know that this isn’t done alone. For Ephesians. 4:11 states, “And He gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists and some pastors and teachers.” The Bible teaches that everything must be done in decent and order. Therefore, ministries must be established to fulfill the vision of Kingdom Building. By divine order from God, I must teach all individuals how to carry out their ministry and operate under authority in ministry.

God has not only given me a spiritual vision but a natural vision for the care and welfare of the church.

What We Believe

The Word of God is Inspired

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God as originally given.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in Christian lives. The Holy Spirit enables us to live a godly life.

The Return of Christ

We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ; the time and day of his coming is not revealed.

The One True Godhead

We believe in the triune Godhead comprised of three (3) personalities of God. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit who are eternally self-existent, self revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Water Baptism

We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion.

The Deity of Jesus

We believe in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe in His birth, anointed work, death, burial, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father in power and glory.

The Lord’s Supper

We believe in the communion of the Lord’s Supper for believers.

Sanctity of Marriage

We solely embrace and accept heterosexual marriages and neither accept nor support homosexual marriages and/or unions.

Man

We believe as recorded in Genesis the creation, test and fall of man. He was created in a state of holiness under the law of his Maker, but through the temptation of Satan, he transgressed the command of God and fell from his original holiness and righteousness.

The Resurrection

We believe there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. The righteous to the resurrection of life and the unrighteous to the resurrection of damnation.

Salvation

We believe that the redemption of man through the shedding of Jesus blood, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are absolutely essential.

The Body of Christ

We believe in the spiritual birth of believers in Jesus Christ.

Satan

We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and eternal judgment of Satan and his angels.
